• File claims - We file claims electronically to ensure quick and reliable receipt by the insurance carrier.
• Prepare patient statements - Statements are mailed from our office on behalf of your practice or facility and are handled specifically to your specifications. Every statement is manually reviewed before going out.
• Handle appeals - If a payment or denial has been made, we investigate its validity and work with the insurance companies to receive the correct reimbursement for you.
• Provide reports - Reports are prepared on a daily and monthly basis, customized specifically for your practice.
• Monitor fee schedules - We will monitor your fee schedules and allowables and provide feedback as necessary.

Financial Management

Along with the wide range of billing services to physician clients, Starr Medical Management also offers Financial Management Services to numerous clients. This service includes: accounts payable, payroll, tax reporting, co-ordination and reporting to client CPAs. Practice Management

For many physician's practices, we provide an overall set of practice management services combining medical billing, physician credentialing, financial management and other consulting services dependant upon the the needs of your office.

For physician credentialing, our expert staff will fill out the applications for as many carriers and/or networks you choose. We stay on top of the credentialing process to ensure that your application gets processed. The credentialing process is dependant on the carriers and/or networks, but typically takes 60 - 180 days before you are viewed as participating with the insurance carrier and/or network.
